Three's a charm, not in my case

As if I'm not spending enough time in KL and at work ALREADY, yours truly still had to obey the gods at work and ride the early morning train to the city centre and get the medical check up done with. Mainly because if I don't go, means I won't have the job which also means I'll go broke before you say the word broke.

Okay back to simple words and sentences that won't make me sound like an idiot.

I arrived at KL Sentral via the Intercity train, and I had an appointment at the Prince Court Medical Centre. So I figured I'd take the LRT to KLCC and get a cab from there. Easy peasy. After obtaining the ticket, it's only logical for frequent and ex-frequent LRT users to know that you'd have to take the right escalator, not the left.

Brain messed up 1st time: But no, I took the left one and almost, almost went to PJ instead of KL. Still, no biggie. It's early in the morning anyways.

Arrived at KLCC, got a cab and reached pretty early. Asked the receptionist, and somehow I ended up at the radiology dept, and end up nowhere until this guy took me directly to the right spot. Sense of direction fail. Fill in form, bla bla, wait, bla bla, go X-ray, wait, bla bla, finish.

Now I had to go back to office which is all the way in Bukit Jalil. Already resigned but still looks as if I'm heading to work +.+ I decided to ride the train to Masjid Jamek and interchange to the Sri Petaling line, which would take me directly to Bukit Jalil.

The last time I took the LRT, the Masjid Jamek station was still under renovation so for the whole year (seriously!) I had to use the underground walkway and come out at the other side, cross the road and then get the tickets.

But by now, the renovation was already completed, but in the midst of disorientation again (coffee didn't help!) I did exactly that! Because by now, everyone knows the walkway up to the Sri Petaling line is on the same side as the Putra line I just got off. No friggin underground and no friggin crossing friggin roads!.

Brain messed up 2nd time: Of course, I didn't realize that yet. I bought the ticket, and the guy pointed out the train was on the other side. There was another renovation going on, so it seems plausible that they had an alternative walkway then. So I walked back again, used a new temporary walkway and got up on the platform. Oh yeah, okay, this looks familiar enough.

Then this foreign lady came and asked if this was where the train to Bukit Jalil would stop. I said yeah. Super 100% sure.

Then the train came and I boarded it. As it was leaving I glanced back to the foreign lady and saw she was still waiting at the platform. I figured maybe she was waiting for someone else so hmm, never mind lah.

At Chan Sow Lin station, this guy comes up and sits next to a girl and asked if this train was

Wait, some people might be confused with the train system so I'd just make a quick run through it. In Malaysia, we have 2 main LRT lines, one is the Kelana Jaya line (formerly known as Putra) and the other one is the Ampang/Sri Petaling line (formerly known as STAR). Now the latter is a little weird, the trains would operate from Sentul Timur station, and at Chan Sow Lin station, they either divert towards Ampang or Sri Petaling.

As for me, I had to take the train towards Sri Petaling.

going to Cempaka (a station on the Ampang line).

Brain messed up 3rd time, you kiddin me?!: Wait, what Cempaka. Before I could think, the announcer's voice over came, Next station, Miharja (yeah, I'm on the train heading towards Ampang all right). Wei, 3 times already, hellooo?!

So I totally forgot the check the train's destination. And no wonder the foreign lady used her head to wait for the correct train. Foreigner smarter than ex frequent LRT user.

Champion.

After that, no more wrong trains lah thank you Your Highness.

Very good or very bad

I got a new job.

This time last year Facebook was only for adding friends and updating status. Now I'm working at friends' hotels and logging in every day cuz I want to level up asap. Just watch out when I start working on the farm.

I got Broadband couple of days ago. Super slow during peak hours.

I had several subscribers making police reports cuz they can't watch Astro. World Cup to be exact.

I super dulan with one dealer cuz she made me wait for her fax, and when it came, it was a blank form.

I can work 20 hrs straight. I won't lie about this.

I locked myself out of the car once and my landlord's sister's godson had to ride all the way to Gombak to retrieve a spare key.

I live with 2 male housemates.

I keep thinking K's border collie may not be a border collie at all. For now.
