Sept 7 09

Guten Morgen Deutschland! (Good morning Germany!) It's 8.11am, one hour earlier from Liverpool's time (laptop is still on Greenwich mean time hah!). This is gonna be a long post as I'll be pledging my love for the country that produced Michael Schumacher and Deutschlandlied, the national anthem =)

I don't have breakfast usually but since I've already paid for it and I can pile the food high up, why not? Bacon was very salty though.

Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany =)

Female German Shepherd. It's about time I get one.

Downtown Munich. A lot of beer drinking and wieners (German sausages) for sale. I had a Starbucks and went for more shoe shopping but couldn't find anything that suited my taste.

One of the many farms on the way to Neuschwanstein Castle.

Fussen, Germany featured in Season 4's Amazing Race.

Forggensee reservoir by the town of Hohenschwangau, Germany =)

View of Hohenschwangau village from Neuschwanstein Castle.

Waterfall below to Marienbrucke bridge. This is the only shot I got cuz although I hate admitting it, I do have acrophobia (fear of heights) and the rest of the time was telling Fei Lin to not touch me haha.

Neuschwanstein Castle. It was a long trek up the hill, and we had fun running down to the waiting bus cuz we spent too much time up there.

The inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland, built by Ludwig II of Bavaria.

View of the Marienbrucke bridge from Neuschwanstein. Awesome, yeah?

Hohenschwangau Castle nearby the Neuschwanstein, where Ludwig II lived during his childhood years. Built by his father Maximilian II.

The Alpsee lake, a stone's throw away from both castles.

Town of Reutte, Austria where we spent the night.
