Yeh

So folks, the year is coming to an end and after promising myself repeatedly to write something or post a pic or at visit my blog (if you want to call it one) at least once every week month, I thought at the very least I should post something to mark the end of the year. Ok sorry, that was a lie. I should at least update something to remind what I did for 2011.

Yeah okay, so no more blog. More like something I could read again 2 years from now and relive all my past narcissisms.

January - I went to Langkawi for the first time. Yeh.

February - I remember working a lot. Yeh.

March - I still remember I was working a lot. Yeh.

April - I moved to a new place. Yeh.

May - I don't remember, but according to my tweets, I was surrounded by a lot of wisecracks that annoyed the donkey s*** outta me until I had to waste precious tweet space to tweet about them. Yeh.

June - I watched Transformers. Yeh.

July - .... Yeh.

August - Colleague bought the Samsung Galaxy SII smartphone, so I also wan. Yeh.

September - Still thinking if I want the Samsung Galaxy SII smartphone. Yeh.

October - I damn emo and potong stim this month. Bugger I'm still thinking if I want the Samsung Galaxy SII smartphone. Yeh.

November - I got a new pair of glasses. For the love of God I'm still thinking if
I want the Samsung Galaxy SII smartphone. Yeh.

December - I got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy SII smartphone. Yeh yeh yeh.

I should stop being nice to people

Reason #1-Most people won't feel grateful, they're just happy this sucka gave into their needs.
Reason #2-Doing good stuff doesn't mean you get good karma in return. More like bad karma.
Reason #3-Most people won't even remember you did something for them. In fact they'll come back to you asking for more because this sucka is just too nice and polite to yell back and say no.

Btw, this sucka refers to me.

Seriously, I've just about had it with this neighborhood. I moved into this new place in April, where I finally got my own bathroom and a parking space I *thought* was mine. Heck, I moved in first! Umm, no. Landlord says first come, first serve. Okayyy.

Prob #1-Kancil decides he gets to park inside. So fine. I'll park outside. I work in shifts anyway so if I have to leave for work at 6am I won't be worried his car is obstructing mine and vice versa.
Prob #2-MyVi and Viva were the last to move in, and they get to park inside. So now I'll have to fight for a parking spot outside under the tree with Kancil. Bloody hell, outside also need to fight >.<

Which brought 3 more consequences to my poor lil car. First, the wheels get peed on every now and then by a neighbor dog who thinks he's so close to me. Then one of my tyre's air pressure cap (what is the correct term for that? I don't have time to check now) gets stolen. And just last month there were 2 scratches on my car! Bloody hell what have I done to deserve all this poop?

But thank God the landlord decided to cement up the lawn so an additional car can be parked inside. So far so good. My car's getting some shade. Finally. Until this morning.

Prob #3-Honda bike has his friends over occasionally, and they picked this morning to park their Wira right in front of the gate so I can't park inside. So fine, I'll park outside.
Prob #4-As I was inching into my usual spot under the tree, this black Viva belonging to the auntie next door comes running to me saying I'm parking in her spot. Bloody hell it's still within my house's territory how the hell it became your spot?

Unfortunately I could still find the politeness in me amidst of all the poop that was going on so I parked somewhere else and had to resist the temptation of waking up the Wira guys who were sound asleep in the living room. And I actually apologized to the auntie. Who on this planet would actually apologize when they're not at fault? If I had a gun with me I'd already blew my brains out for being the most pathetic sucka on Earth. And, oh the guys didn't even bother to apologize as I was leaving for work this evening. Bloody, bloody humans.

And bloody, bloody me who can't find a way to lash out at people.

Seriously, one more poop happens I swear I'll burn down this entire neighborhood.

Pageant Predictions: Miss USA 2011

Miss USA 2011 is tomorrow, and this year is particularly delightful cuz 2 of my all time favorite contestants are competing!! Picks based on headshots and their past experiences in the beauty pageant circuit.

One is Ashley Durham from Tennessee. I've been a fan since she competed at Miss Teen USA 2006 as a 16 year old. Fans are placing her high for tomorrow's competition and I'm seriously rooting for her to win. Oh, and she also replied to a message I sent after winning her state title.

The other is Alyssa Campanella representing California. Originally from New Jersey, she was 1st runner up at Miss Teen USA 2007. Check out her FB fanpage and her extensive portfolio. A heavy favorite for tomorrow's crown and might just win the Miss Universe 2011 crown. She has replied to several comments I made on her page, so regardless who wins tomorrow I'd be fine with it.

Other contestants I'd love to see make the semis:

Alabama - Madeline Mitchell
Arizona - Brittany Brannon
Georgia - Kaylin Reque
Maryland - Allyn Rose
Massachusetts - Alida D' Angona
Michigan - Channing Pierce
Mississippi - Keely Patterson
Missouri - Hope Driskill
New Jersey - Julianna White
South Carolina - Courtney Turner

Unlucky

What is it with some people who do mistakes but don't get caught? But when I made an accidental mistake the supervisor comes running to my channel, pointing at the outgoing screen and I have to suck in my ego and apologize.

Gotta find my work mojo again.

Girl powerrrr!

Ohh lookie here ...
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/5/23/nation/20110523155334&sec=nation
If you're too lazy to click the link, here, I'll summarize it for ya. The Malaysian government's worried that women are delaying marriage. Seriously, if ya'll are worried perhaps you could find us one.

Or maybe find me one. Cuz when I was a kid I used to brag to my mom that I won't get married and kids are at the bottom of my priority list. And then Kay drops the bombshell on me, "if you don't have kids, who's gonna take care of you when you're old and how can you afford a place at the old folks' home?".

Bloody bloody Kay.

Anyways, I won't be in denial any longer cuz my grandma has pretty much given up hope on my older cousins in terms of settling down - so she's turn to me now. (God, I'm getting old). Instead of asking about jobs and KL life she's been asking about finding a boyfriend pretty much everytime I see her. Even mom has been asking once in a while (shudder!!). Awesomeness. Just waiting for dad to ask now.

Okay so, mom, dad, grandma, government - I got 'em answers.
Guys don't know I exist, at least, the ones I'm showing interest in.

Guys show interest, but that's only what I think.

Guys prefer the hot chicks who socialize with them .. at bars, clubs, anywhere as long it's not the bookstore.

I'm not hot enough for them. 'Nuff said. I could give you more vocabularies but then they'll say I have low self esteem. Blah.

Okay I should stop right here before this happens:

P/S - This post is only intended for humor. Do not take this seriously and throw rocks at me, because I have never, ever did that to a person before.

Love

It's 9.20 in the morning and I decided I should start it with a steaming cup of milk and my fav cereal, Post's Honey Bunches of Oats. And seriously, milk in the morning before work and before bed really kept me up at work. (Thank you, milk!). So 8 days marathon is achievable, and oh, I should thank God too for keeping me outta trouble .. well, except for Saturday's incident but that was really my fault so, oh well, I've rectified it yesterday anyways.

Why not love life? I got a job, a car, a place to live, folks and good people who care. And that includes fakers and backstabbers who ironically use up their precious time to talk behind my back. (So far none yet, but well, if you're planning to do it go ahead).

I've a handful of college friends who I still talk with, not on a daily basis but enough to know they still remember who you are. Those who managed to see past me to know that I am imperfect and that I come with flaws but they never judged me, instead, giving me chances to make up for the mistakes I've made. So thank you.

On my very first day of my 2nd job, I became instant friends with a smiley person who taught me that there is nothing wrong with smiling at people. Makes you feel all warm inside when they smile back at you. So that is what I've been doing since then. I find it hard to start a conversation with people at times, so a simple smile would do.

To those who have stuck by me since day 1, thank you. Thank you for your advice. Thank you for watching my back. I am honored to be included in your gang. You guys are worth being friends with.

Kate Middleton is kinda hot

Or now known as Princess Catherine aka Duchess of Cambridge. Omg I totally didn't expect myself to be pulled into this hoopla. But after watching the countless promos on TV and the fact that I won't be watching any royal wedding anytime sooner I figured I'd try to watch it online.

Maybe I shouldn't use the word "hot". Sounds inappropriate. But she's "hot" in a subtle way. That's one reason. Another reason was because no one knows what she'll wear today so being kepoh I also wanna see first hand what kinda gown was that.

If only William and Kate got hitched in summer 2009, I could be one of these guys. I didn't have a TV with me, and I didn't want to purposely go to work to watch so I tried watching online. Given my Broadband's frequent mood swings I didn't have much hope but I secretly hoped watching on Youtube would be just fine.

But decided on CNN instead. See, so much clearer! Ahh Buckingham Palace. I was there 1 1/2 years ago!

Pity these folks lah. The altar is so far upfront I wonder what they can actually see. And these are like, totally insanely super duper VIPs. Betcha they rather sit at home and watch Sky News on their 200 inch LCD screens.

Holy hats! Actually some cannot qualify as hats lah. More like pasting strings and ribbons on the side of your head. But it's actually pretty cool.

The mother of them all. Wonder if she could actually see anything.

William and Harry. I was always into Harry more. Jeng jeng jeng.

Some guys in the department couldn't understand why I wanted to watch so much. Mike said it wasn't my wedding so why bother (he ended up watching himself), and D preferred to watch the aftermath of the wedding, specifically in the bedroom. =.=

From here onwards it became pretty exhausting to watch. Connection wasn't good, and I had to reconnect and refresh the page. So I decided to drive over to D's and begged him to let me watch for an hour, who couldn't understand the world's obsession over it and that it doesn't provide me with any satisfaction. Of all words.

Mind you, he was the 2nd guy who asked if the groom was Prince Charles. Sial.

Walking past the in laws. D had already kicked ushered me out cuz he had to go out so back to reconnecting and refreshing.

Cool no? So far I have yet to missed any vital scenes (wait, I missed the kiss at the altar) and surprised to find myself diligently reconnecting and refreshing still. A smart person would have stopped by now.

Kinda like Cinderella, no? William's salute is super "yeng" wei.

Super lucky to be part of a royal wedding by being a flower girl. *like that also want to envy* Heh.

Still reconnecting and refreshing. By now, I totally missed the second smooch. >.< All those Broadband commercials are lying straight to your face, if you don't know by now.

So I stole this pic from Yahoo and will find the smooch scene later on Youtube. *omg what's with me wanting to watch people smooching* Girl on the right is downright adorable.

But I still wanna credit my Broadband for it's 6 hour dedication towards the royal wedding. Worse case scenario would be reconnecting and refreshing every single minute.
