What for I curse you lah?

I don’t think I ever had a week plagued with bad luck until this week.

First, I was bitten by a bug. I do not know how it appeared in the car and ended up running around my ankles. My leg got kinda ticklish so I selamba scratched it.

Then I felt a sharp sting, kinda like what the victims in the Discovery Channel series, I Was Bitten, went through. The culprit left a tiny red swelling dot on my leg, before injecting its venom stinging me 2 more times. For a second I thought I was bitten by a black widow spider and I pictured myself going into anaphylactic shock or something, and I’m gonna die lol.

But it was just a bug that probably thought it was threatened and defended itself. Friggin right it should be threatened, if it appears again it’ll be smashed into pulp =)

The red dots are still visible, crap.

Second curse involved taking a wrong turn and getting lost trying to find a way out.

I totally wasn’t paying attention and went on the route that led me to Putrajaya, and getting back on the right track is to drive one big round around the town. I had to get back to Bukit Jalil, so I preferred the road that would pass through Equine, Sri Kembangan and Serdang Raya.

Then I spotted a signboard with “Serdang” on it, so I figured I’ll just go on it secretly hoping it won’t take me on the SKVE highway.

Too bad it did.

So I took the next left turn (into the Serdang hospital) which will hopefully get me on the opposite side of the highway and retrace my way back. But nooooo ... it didn’t happen that way. Then I turned into UPM, which didn’t look right. Finally I spotted a signboard “Sri Serdang”. Relief. Phew.

Wait, which way to turn into Sri Kembangan? I reached a roundabout, and blindly took the left road which, you guessed it, made me drive one huge circle around the housing area. Serdang so big wan meh? Wasting valuable fuel ... now 50 bucks isn’t even full tank. Shiatz.

Long story short, I reached the roundabout again and took a right turn this time because there was traffic jam straight ahead and managed to get back on the right road.

Crap #3 happened 11 hours later. I just got up and went to switch the light on. In the dark I didn’t see the floor mat, so I slipped and fell lah. Tried to get up again, but slipped one more time. Dang! Left leg got 3 red dots and right leg got one big bruise. Super.

I took a pic of it and from a certain angle, the swelled part looks like a boob.

Pageant Predictions: Miss Teen USA 2010

My interest usually lean towards the Teen pageant because of all the fresh faces. And also because it boggles my mind as to why I've never done all those things when I was their age. Volunteering, I mean. Not taking part in pageants =/

Anyways, predictions this time around.

Adoi

I have been cut out off civilization cuz I only found out today fuel prices shot up again. Well, if I can't get my hand on newspapers I did the next best thing: follow The Star newspaper on Twitter. So the wisest thing is to cut back on lepaking, like no more Mid Valley but more of Leisure Mall in Cheras =(

Housemate #1 keeps hogging the TV all day long. He's already in front of the telly at 8am, he's still there at 12pm, sleeping with the TV on at 2pm and after that I don't even bother checking if the TV is available anymore.

Housemate #2 still creeps me out after sending those disturbing messages. Okaylah, not really disturbing but the way he typed it and arranged his sentences could drive a gay dude straight *Evil, I know muahahahahaha*. And he keeps mentioning about having dinner together ... >.<

My neighbor is super nosy. One time K came over to spend the night, and she was still asleep when I left for work next morning so I left her the spare house keys. Well, when she was leaving the neighbor spotted her and God knows what the neighbor did until my landlord's sister found out. So her godson, which also happens to be Housemate #1 bla bla bla bla bla me when I was about to leave for work! Of all times! =.= Mostly about neighbor became suspicious and he didn't know how to explain to his godmother and I should talk to her about it. He probably thought I'm afraid of his godmother, well, so as soon as I was out of the house I called her up and explain sometimes I need to have friends over for company and they're females and it's not like we're doing drugs or drinking or doing whatsoever with weed. And I'm paying the rent every month okay? And do you want to know how many times have I spotted cockroaches running around in the house, not to mention I had to kill one when it came into the bathroom. And with 2 messy gardens I wouldn't be surprised if I have to start killing snakes.
**The ones in red were the actual things I said, the blue ones were the things I wanted to say but since she let me stay here I should just keep quiet**

Since we're on cockroaches, I spotted the big daddy of all in the bathroom one night. K just left, and it was already 1am and this guy just dropped in. I grabbed a broom, and I think I actually stood at the door watching big daddy for a good half an hour. I think I was strategizing on how to actually kill it at one go because I *think* I saw him fly in. Then I went at it. Missed. Tried again. Missed. I smacked him, and smacked again. Still alive. Stupid broom! Smack. He was on his back trying to get up. I pressed the broom on him and swept him into the drain and closed the lid. Let him drown or find his way outta the drain. *breathe in, breathe out*

Am reading about censorship guidelines and memorizing Chinese offensive words because that's the only thing I need to catch while watching shows at work. But I'm improving on that language, really!

I usually set my alarm at 6am but truth is I know I'll only leave the bed at 7.30am ha!

After owning hotels and restaurants and living in a sorority and having a pet I am now building my empire. Darn Facebook! =P

Three's a charm, not in my case

As if I'm not spending enough time in KL and at work ALREADY, yours truly still had to obey the gods at work and ride the early morning train to the city centre and get the medical check up done with. Mainly because if I don't go, means I won't have the job which also means I'll go broke before you say the word broke.

Okay back to simple words and sentences that won't make me sound like an idiot.

I arrived at KL Sentral via the Intercity train, and I had an appointment at the Prince Court Medical Centre. So I figured I'd take the LRT to KLCC and get a cab from there. Easy peasy. After obtaining the ticket, it's only logical for frequent and ex-frequent LRT users to know that you'd have to take the right escalator, not the left.

Brain messed up 1st time: But no, I took the left one and almost, almost went to PJ instead of KL. Still, no biggie. It's early in the morning anyways.

Arrived at KLCC, got a cab and reached pretty early. Asked the receptionist, and somehow I ended up at the radiology dept, and end up nowhere until this guy took me directly to the right spot. Sense of direction fail. Fill in form, bla bla, wait, bla bla, go X-ray, wait, bla bla, finish.

Now I had to go back to office which is all the way in Bukit Jalil. Already resigned but still looks as if I'm heading to work +.+ I decided to ride the train to Masjid Jamek and interchange to the Sri Petaling line, which would take me directly to Bukit Jalil.

The last time I took the LRT, the Masjid Jamek station was still under renovation so for the whole year (seriously!) I had to use the underground walkway and come out at the other side, cross the road and then get the tickets.

But by now, the renovation was already completed, but in the midst of disorientation again (coffee didn't help!) I did exactly that! Because by now, everyone knows the walkway up to the Sri Petaling line is on the same side as the Putra line I just got off. No friggin underground and no friggin crossing friggin roads!.

Brain messed up 2nd time: Of course, I didn't realize that yet. I bought the ticket, and the guy pointed out the train was on the other side. There was another renovation going on, so it seems plausible that they had an alternative walkway then. So I walked back again, used a new temporary walkway and got up on the platform. Oh yeah, okay, this looks familiar enough.

Then this foreign lady came and asked if this was where the train to Bukit Jalil would stop. I said yeah. Super 100% sure.

Then the train came and I boarded it. As it was leaving I glanced back to the foreign lady and saw she was still waiting at the platform. I figured maybe she was waiting for someone else so hmm, never mind lah.

At Chan Sow Lin station, this guy comes up and sits next to a girl and asked if this train was

Wait, some people might be confused with the train system so I'd just make a quick run through it. In Malaysia, we have 2 main LRT lines, one is the Kelana Jaya line (formerly known as Putra) and the other one is the Ampang/Sri Petaling line (formerly known as STAR). Now the latter is a little weird, the trains would operate from Sentul Timur station, and at Chan Sow Lin station, they either divert towards Ampang or Sri Petaling.

As for me, I had to take the train towards Sri Petaling.

going to Cempaka (a station on the Ampang line).

Brain messed up 3rd time, you kiddin me?!: Wait, what Cempaka. Before I could think, the announcer's voice over came, Next station, Miharja (yeah, I'm on the train heading towards Ampang all right). Wei, 3 times already, hellooo?!

So I totally forgot the check the train's destination. And no wonder the foreign lady used her head to wait for the correct train. Foreigner smarter than ex frequent LRT user.

Champion.

After that, no more wrong trains lah thank you Your Highness.

Very good or very bad

I got a new job.

This time last year Facebook was only for adding friends and updating status. Now I'm working at friends' hotels and logging in every day cuz I want to level up asap. Just watch out when I start working on the farm.

I got Broadband couple of days ago. Super slow during peak hours.

I had several subscribers making police reports cuz they can't watch Astro. World Cup to be exact.

I super dulan with one dealer cuz she made me wait for her fax, and when it came, it was a blank form.

I can work 20 hrs straight. I won't lie about this.

I locked myself out of the car once and my landlord's sister's godson had to ride all the way to Gombak to retrieve a spare key.

I live with 2 male housemates.

I keep thinking K's border collie may not be a border collie at all. For now.
